On the road to the winter season, a stop in the vineyards

Updated: Apr 2, 2024

Beaujolais is an ancient wine-growing region, with a scenic landscape and winemakers who work their Gamay grape variety with passion to produce terroir wines. 10 famous "crus" such as Morgon, Brouilly, Fleurie and Chiroubles make up the Beaujolais wine route, fine, racy wines.

Fleurie

Jeanguyot Wine Agency manage today a perfect private trip where you'll discover the different approaches to viticulture and winemaking in the region. 3 wine-growing encounters, including the discovery of a small wine estate with a modern approach, a family estate with a traditional approach and finally, a vineyard that works biodynamically.

The Mont Brouilly

Depending on the availability of the winegrowers, 15 to 20 wines are tasted on the day, the vast majority of them reds from the Gamay grape and a few whites from Chardonnay and Viognier. We could visit the winery and stroll through the vineyards.

Lunch break after the morning's two tastings. Depending on your wishes, we could opt either for the local bistronomic restaurant where the winemakers have lunch, or for the region's Michelin-starred restaurant.
