Beaujolais wines are still reasonably priced. Price range from 10 to 40 euros per bottle, depending on the parcel and the work done by the winemaker on the wine sold.
In the Rhône Valley, wine depends on the appellations, which are more or less prestigious and rare.
For example, a bottle of Côte-Rotie, Condrieu or Hermitage will start at €40 and rise to over €100.
For Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage wines, prices range from €20 to €50.
We appreciate the diversity of winegrowing structures, with a particular appetite for family-run estates. So, depending on what's on offer, we'll meet either small family-run wineries or larger structures, with a greater or lesser emphasis on natural, organic or biodynamic wines.
We are partners and friends with over 40 wineries in both the Beaujolais and Rhône-Valley regions, as as in southern Burgundy, towards Mâcon.
We always make appointments at the winery a week in advance. So we don't know what the wineries will be on the day of your booking, but we can let you know which wineries we'll be visiting a few days before our wine tour.
Your children are welcome on this day. The French highway code is strict, so if your child is under 12, a child seat will be provided. This means that you will not be able to carry your child.
If your child is over 12, we don't need to provide a child seat.
The day is free for your children.
As a lover of the French art of living, we would be delighted to share our recommendations with you and to benefit from our partnerships with hotels and restaurants in the Lyon area.
