Wine Tours around Lyon
By submitting your payment for any tour, including all activities and attractions, you are accepting these
Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
1 Contract
1.1 These general conditions of contract govern the contractual relationship between you and Jeanguyot Wine
Agency in respect of guided tours organized by us.
1.2 A contract is concluded once Jeanguyot Wine Agency has accepted a booking you have made in writing (letter,
email or via the internet) or by telephone.
2 Jeanguyot Wine Agency
2.1 We are Jeanguyot Wine Agency EURL, a limited company incorporated in France with registered number 952
870 152 and registered address at 13 Rue Saint-Jean, Lyon, 69005, France.
2.2 Services offered by Jeanguyot Wine Agency are subject to French and European law. If you are in any way
dissatisfied with any aspect of a Jeanguyot Wine Agency tour, you must write to us outlining the nature of the
complaint within 30 days of the end of the tour. French Law will apply to your contract and any disputes arising out
of, or in connection with this contract will be settled by the Lyon Court of Justice, France.
3 Terms of payment
3.1 Private sales: A deposit of 20% of the total price is required to confirm the booking.
3.2 In the event that the deposit is not paid, we reserve the right to accept another booking request that has paid
the deposit.
3.3 Deposit payments may only be made in € either by money transfer or credit / debit card.
3.4 Payment of the remaining tour fee must be made in cash or credit card at the end of the day.
3.5 Professional sales : Payment on receipt of invoice and at the latest, 15 days before the tour, unless other
payment terms are agreed by our company.
3.6 All sales: Authentica reserves the right to request a down payment or advanced payment in total, stated on
the invoice. No early payment discount. In accordance with the provisions of article L.441-6 of French law “Code
du commerce” modified by the law of 22nd March 2012, in the event of late payment, you shall be indebted and
liable to late payment penalties representing three times the legal interest rate and a fixed payment rate of 40
euros for recovery costs.
4 Cancellation and refunds
4.1 We only take a 20% deposit before the tour. Refunds of this deposit for cancelled tours will be made on the
following basis -Cancellation received and acknowledged by Jeanguyot Wine Agency:
# up to 6 weeks before the booked tour date: total deposit refund (20% of tour cost)
# 6 weeks or less before the booked tour date: no deposit refund.
4.2 Refunds will be made via Paypal and all charges relating to payment and refund will be borne by the client.
4.3 Any unadvised reduction in numbers on the date of the tour will not alter the fee for the booked tour already
calculated.
5 No show
5.1 If the client for the booked tour does not arrive then Jeanguyot Wine Agency will:
i. Make no refund
and reserves the right to:
ii. Levy a cancellation fee amounting to the balance of the tour price.
6 Programme alterations or cancellation of a tour by Jeanguyot Wine Agency
6.1 Tour programmes may be altered in unforeseeable circumstances. Jeanguyot Wine Agency will do all it can to
offer alternative, equally satisfactory arrangements or another solution in such cases.
6.2 Jeanguyot Wine Agency is entitled to cancel tours in cases of force majeure (e.g. natural catastrophes, unrest,
strikes) or in the event of government action, accidents, technical defects, illness, etc. Amounts already paid to
Jeanguyot Wine Agency will be reimbursed but no compensation or out of pocket expenses will be paid.
7 Participation
7.1 All our wine tours are private. You will not be in the company of other travelers.
7.2 For the benefit of everyone Jeanguyot Wine Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any tour participant
and to remove any client whose conduct is deemed incompatible with the interests of the public, suppliers or staff.
Jeanguyot Wine Agency will not refund or cover any cost or expenses incurred for termination of tour arrangements
due to unacceptable behaviour.
8. Travellers who need special assistance on tours
You must report any disability requiring special attention while on tour to Jeanguyot Wine Agency at the time the
reservation is made. Jeanguyot Wine Agency will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of
disabled travellers, but is not responsible in the event it is unable to do so nor responsible for any denial of services
by carriers, hotels, restaurants, or other independent suppliers. Jeanguyot Wine Agency cannot provide individualassistance to clients for walking, dining, getting on and off vehicles, or other personal needs. Jeanguyot Wine
Agency strongly recommends a qualified and physically able companion must accompany travelers who need such
assistance. All travelers with Jeanguyot Wine Agency are subject to the Participation clause above.
9 Liability
Jeanguyot Wine Agency co-ordinates and arranges the numerous and various services of sub-contractors and
vendors before and during a tour. This includes restaurants, activity providers and the owners of vineyards,
chateaux, gardens and other attractions visited. Any and all persons or companies engaged in conducting such
support services are NOT employees of Jeanguyot Wine Agency. Therefore, Jeanguyot Wine Agency assumes no
liability whatsoever for any loss or accident, loss or damage of personal property, delays, inconveniences, expenses
of any kind or injury to the persons traveling on the tour. Additionally, Jeanguyot Wine Agency is not responsible
for the default or negligence caused by any person or company engaged in providing any service for a tour, or by
any strike, work stoppage, acts of Providence, weather or other events beyond our control. Jeanguyot Wine Agency
reserves the right to cancel or alter any tour when circumstances demand or require.
10 Insurance
Customers are liable for all damage and losses caused by their actions during the tours. Luggage and personal
possessions remain at all times your own responsibility during tours. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to
cover loss of deposit of final monies paid, because of unavoidable cancellation due to illness or other causes,
personal baggage loss, medical expenses, etc.
Our responsibility is defined by the professional insurance contract clauses and French legislation for organization
of wine tastings with visits to wineries; distribution, design and marketing of all travel and tourism activities. More

We will not communicate / spread / publish or otherwise give away your address. You’ll be able to change your
